Bob Hope Turns 100

Thursday May 29, 2003
Born on May 29, 1903 in Eltham, England as Leslie Townes Hope, Bob Hope spent most of the last 100 years making people laugh. Hope has appeared in nearly 70 movies and is probably best known for entertaining the troops at nearly every U.S. war in the 20th century. While the world commemorates, Hope himself will be celebrating his birthday with close family.
