Sunday June 22, 2003
The airplane that formerly served as Air Force One for seven U.S. presidents arrived at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library on Saturday, June 21. The 153-foot long Boeing 707 was carried by two trucks (one with the fuselage and the second with the 68-foot wings) to Simi Valley, California where it will be put back together and presented as an exhibit at the Reagan Presidential Library. The exhibit is expected to open May 2004.
