Hitler’s first love was a much younger niece, Angelika (”Geli”) Raubal, who died of a gun-shot wound to the chest at the age of 23. Subsequent intimates included Eva Braun, a secret mistress; Magda Goebbles, a loyal follower; and Winifred Wagner, daughter-in-law of the famous German composer.

hitler had the right idea. his ideals were good for his country. his only downfall was his obsession with world domination. if it wasn’t for that, Germany would have flourished, and so would Hitler’s reign. What the Nazis did with the Jews was no different than what the U.S. did to the japs in WWII. but nobody wants to hear of that, do they?!

I also believe that Hitler had the right idea. Protecting your ideals sometimes comes to war. It is called survival of the fittest and it is a natural law. Natural laws are not always pleasant. Christians killed for years when someone didn’t agree with their laws. I am atheist, I have no special rights. The “masons” have penetrated our government and pushed their symbols and ideals upon us for years. Leave Hitler alone and leave white people alone. We have carried the weight of the world long enough and been blamed for matters out of our hands. Reality rules!

Well some of these statements are just ridiculous and disgusting.
Hitler was a great leader, but because you are a great leader does not mean you do great things. He did horrible things, and what he did was sickening and repulsive, it was wrong and if you argue that it wasn’t, you have something seriously wrong with you. If it wasnt for Hitler, the many millions of Jewish people would still be living, the would not be hurt, there would be no pain for them, no suffering. YOU CANNOT ARGUE THAT WHAT HE DID WAS RIGHT.
His intentions at the beginning were, not to say innocent, but more directed at running a great nation, which is what most politicians want right? He had good idea’s and political philosophies, or at least, his own opinion. He had a manic, attractive, charismatic way of speaking which drew people in and wanted to listen to more. Even if you are a Hitler hater, listen to some of his speeches and tell me you are not even mildy drawn in. He spoke well! And when the country was in such crisis from the breakdown of the Weimar Republic, they turned to something sound, with grounded policies and a positive future, and Hitler gave this!
What happened, was his ideas got carried away, or at least his method did.
He grew up in the slums, and after his mother died when he was 19, turned to charity soup kitchens for food, and lived in homeless shelters, he wanted to be an artist (if only he continued with this hope, would have saved the world alot of pain) and because of this, he envied the rich.
And in a political world, where one must turn other against something or someone in order for them to support them, they had so blame someone right? And who better than the Jews, afterall, they had been ridiculed and blamed for everything else the past 10000 years.
So Hitler decided to turn his policies against the Jews, convince everyone to hate them aswell, someone was the reason for all the bad in the world right! (WRONG)

I NEED TO GO, if you wish to continue reading my answer, email me or whatever.

When we speak of Hitler, we often think evil; yet to a certain degree, we can say with reason, that he was an evil genius. Hitler possessed the “inherent” personal skills and determination to become the “new born” leader of the third Reich. However one might think of Hitler, his leadership skills certainly would prove that his position of power was not fortuitous, rather it was because of a “myth”, what we call the “Hitler Myth”.
Hitler had something that everyone was drawn towards. Germany was suffering from the ‘great’ depression of the 1930’s. This gave Hitler leverage over the current government, however his leadership skill enabled him to gain a position of power. Hitler knew, because he studied the Bolshevick Revolution, that creating a common enemy unites a nation quicker than by any other means. He promised not only economic prosperity, but her promised the oppressed German farmer and worker, under the Communist regime, their private property and rights than had been stolen. Plus, he pushed this idealism through military coercion. The fact that Hitler was a WWI veteran, he used his experience to promote his name.
Yet everyone seems to ignore the implications of the Treaty of Versailles. It can be argued that Nazi Germany would have never existed if this treaty had not have taken place. The treaty had caused hyper inflation that it hurt most of western Europe. Hitler blamed everyone who was not a Aryan and German born as the enemy. This was extremely appealing and caused a huge following, especially amongst the youth.

(10) Lori says:

People should remember that not all Germans were Nazis. You cannot hate all Germans for what the Nazis did. I am part German and proud. That does not make me a Nazi. I’ve visited Germany and met many great people. I’ve studied the German language, Hitler and the Holocaust for many years. To say you hate Germans because of Hitler is ignorant. Yes, many Germans became Nazi followers but that does not mean the Germans of today’s generation are to blame for what their ancestors did. And what many people fail to realize is that Hitler was Austrian not German. Anti-semetism was much worse in Austria. I do believe Hitler was an evil man but he was also a genius which is how be became so dangerous. My point is to not hate others as the Nazis hated the Jews, Catholics, Roma Sinti people, etc. Yes, the Nazis carried out many atrocities that no one should ever have to suffer. We must remember what happened and not let it happen again…to anyone.

Most of the balanced comments say
1.great leader – but he could go to extremes to eliminate his own followers like the Brown Shirts at the same time believe all lands west of Germany were peopled by sub-humans, when he acted like a sub-human himself
2. blame the treaty of Versailles and subsequent hyper-inflation for WWII, we can now blame hyper inflation and go to war with the US!or Zimbabwe with 3000% hyper inflation should attack its neighbours!
3. Hitler did what other (christian, communists etc )did in persecuting others.
But in “Hitler’s Table talks”ed Trevor Roper, Hitler in coversation with his intimates looked down on Christians as weaklings as the practised charity and compassssion so his facination with pre-Christian Norse gods of Wagner. Maybe the one of the few reputed tough guys would be the Gorkhas of Nepal used by the Indian and British armies even now maybe accoding to Hitler’s logic they should be ruling the world.

if in WWII all fought 1 by 1 i think German would b the winner….the allies always fought together..never ALONE……DEUTSCH – GERMAN is the best in the world in military fighting…hi,the allies never fight with your friends…fight 1 by one…

(16) Bret says:

Hitler was the most resourceful Commander and leader the world has ever seen. You hipocritical people with your so called love for “unity”. You forget where it is you come from and what He stood for. All our Father wanted was for a people as a whole to unite to their own cultural background, religeous practices and to stand strong for your brother and sisters. Never falter, never weaken. And now look at you, you follow an ideology of another man who wants control. You all need to look at yourself before you condemn.

he was mean to jews because of his grandfather. I think he is a mean idiot. He desirved what happend to him. I hope he knows better than to take his anger out on people of a diffrent religion beacause he is mad a a person from that religion.

(18) Buttcrust says:

Man, some of you people have no idea what you’re talking about. This was the most evil man the world has ever seen. He wasn’t a good leader. He wasn’t a good anything. He was an evil dictator that wanted to take over the world. There were certain others that were just as bad as Hitler such as Goering, Goebels and Dr. Death. They saw no wrong in killing millions of innocent Jewish men, women and children. You people need to check up on your history or talk with some jewish or German people that lived through this if you can find any. If Hitler was so great a leader then why was his own troops trying to kill him?
