President Taft's Sleepiness Investigated

U.S. President William Howard Taft had a tendency -- a very common tendency -- to fall asleep when talking to people, while reviewing troops, and when signing papers. Boy, and we thought that it was embarassing when President George Bush Sr. threw up at a state dinner in Tokyo! At the time, people just thought Taft was a sleepy person. However, a doctor recently examined Taft's ailments and determined that Taft most likely had sleep apnea, an illness where one has trouble breathing at night.
