Concorde Parts Sold at Auction
Tuesday December 2, 2003
Though the last Concorde flight took place at the end of October, parts of the supersonic aircraft are already at auction. Items from the Concorde were sold for more than expected. A few examples: blanket ($2,000), passenger seat ($15,500), nose cone ($550,000). People obviously like to own a little -- or big -- part of history.
