80th Anniversary of V.I. Lenin's Death

On January 21, 1924, Vladimir Ilyich Ulyanov (aka V.I. Lenin) passed away after suffering a series of strokes. He had been a major leader of the Russian Revolution and the first chairman of the Soviet Union. After his death, Lenin's body was embalmed and put on display where it remains today.
