Mass Murder at Babi Yar

After the Nazis attacked the Soviet Union, they pushed east. Only days after they reached Kiev, several bombs exploded near the German headquarters in downtown Kiev. In retaliation for the explosions, the Nazis created a place of mass murder in the ravine named Babi Yar where they murdered 100,000 people and later tried to destroy the evidence of their crime.
