Johnny Carson Passed Away

Sunday January 23, 2005
Early in the morning on Sunday, January 23, late-night comedian Johnny Carson passed away. Carson was widely adored as the host of The Tonight Show for 30 years. It was a sad day when Carson retired as host in 1992 but the loss of such a great comedian makes today an even sadder day.
