Hope Diamond Cut From Stolen Crown Jewel of France

Scientists have determined that the world-famous Hope Diamond was actually cut from the much larger French Blue Diamond, which was once part of the crown jewels of France. The French Blue Diamond began as a 115-carat stone found in India in 1668; it was cut into 69-carat French Blue and was then was stolen during the French Revolution.
