Deep Throat Unmasked!

For three decades, the true identity of "Deep Throat" remained an unsolved mystery that obsessed the nation. Deep Throat was the secret informant who gave Washington Post reporters Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein information that helped expose the Nixon administration's role in the Watergate Scandal. This week, the true identity of Deep Throat was unmasked; FBI official W. Mark Felt, now 91, came forward and announced that he was Deep Throat. Woodward and Bernstein, who had originally vowed to reveal the true identity of Deep Throat only after his death, have now confirmed Deep Throat's identity.
