Controversy Over the World Trade Center Museum
Thursday July 7, 2005
Families of victims of the September 11 terrorist attack differ greatly in their opinions over the plans for the International Freedom Center, a $500 million museum and monument scheduled to open in 2009 at ground zero in New York. The current plans for the museum include a broad focus on the international fight for freedom. Though there would be information about September 11, there would also be information about oppression throughout history, such as within the Soviet Union and China and slavery in America. Some oppose this broad focus and would prefer the museum to focus more intimately with attacks on September 11.

i agree with the familys that think the museum should only have to deal with the attakes on september,11 not with anything else i might only be 15 but if your going to make a museum about the attacks and other things it should be but somewhere else
