Historian Signs Book Deal for Hurricane Katrina

Historian Douglas Brinkley, author of Tour of Duty: John Kerry and the Vietnam War, has signed a book deal with publisher William Morrow. The book is tentatively titled The Great Deluge and is expected to be published early in 2006. Brinkley plans to donate all proceeds of the book to the Historic New Orleans Collection.
