David Irving Arrested

On November 11, 2005, David Irving was arrested in Austria under a 1989 warrant accusing him of Holocaust denial. According to his website, Irving had planned a one-day visit to Austria in order to give an address to some university students. Holocaust denial is illegal in Austria as it is in a number of other countries including Germany, Poland, France, Czech Republic, and Switzerland.
