Coretta Scott King Dies

Coretta Scott King, widow of civil rights leader Martin Luther King Jr., died in her sleep during the night of January 30-31, 2006 at age 78. Late last year, Mrs. King had suffered a serious heart attack and stroke. Also battling terminal ovarian cancer, Mrs. King was at an alternative medicine clinic in Mexico when she passed away. The world will forever remember Coretta Scott King, the "first lady of the Civil Rights Movement."
