David Irving Sentenced to Jail

On Monday, February 20, 2006, David Irving pled guilty to Holocaust denial in his one day trial, after having been arrested in November 2005 in Austria. He has been sentenced to three years in prison. Irving is appealing the sentence, hoping to make his jail time shorter; prosecutors are also appealing the sentence, believing the sentence was too lenient.
