Lawrence of Arabia Items Auctioned

A compass, watch, and cigarette case that had once belonged to Lawrence of Arabia were auctioned at Christie's in London this week. The items, which Lawrence of Arabia had given to his driver in 1919, sold for £254,400 (over $447,000)-- nearly sixteen times the expected sale price.
