Former Russian President Boris Yeltsin Dies

Former Russian President Boris Yeltsin died on Monday, April 23, 2007 from a heart attack. Yeltsin was 76 years old. Yeltsin was president of Russia from 1991 to 1999, the formative years of the country after the fall of communism and the end of Soviet rule in Russia. Yeltsin will lie in state at the Cathedral of Christ the Saviour in Moscow and then be buried on Wednesday, April 25 at the Novodevichye Cemetery in a state funeral.
