Hitler Drew Disney Toons?

Thursday February 28, 2008
After buying a painting signed "A. Hitler" in Germany, William Hakvaag, the director and founder of the Lofoten War Museum in Norway, discovered a series of cartoons hidden in the back of the painting when he removed the frame. The four cartoons were all of popular Disney characters: three were "dwarfs" (Bashful, Doc, and Dopey) from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1937) and the fourth was of Pinocchio from Disney's 1940 film. The dwarf drawings were signed "A. H." while the Pinocchio drawing was left unsigned. There has yet to be any independent confirmation that the drawings were created by Hitler. The Lofoten Museum website has pictures of all four cartoons.

A pity Hitler did not find any inner peace from his drawing and painting. The world’s people may have stayed alive and at peace if he had.
