New Digital Stalin Archive
Tuesday April 1, 2008
Yale University Press is working to digitize a large collection of correspondence from Soviet dictator Joseph Stalin's private archive. This project, which is expected to take four years to complete, will include scanning and translating approximately 40,000 files. Included in the files are letters and notes to such historical figures as President Franklin D. Roosevelt, Leon Trotsky, and Upton Sinclair.
