Remains of Czar Nicholas II's Children Confirmed
Thursday May 1, 2008
In August 2007, the remains of two children were found buried in a field just outside the city where the last Russian czar and his family were held prisoner and later killed. Many believed the remains were Czar Nicholas II's two missing children, his only son Alexei and his daughter Maria. DNA tests on these remains have just been completed and confirm that they were the two missing Romanov children. After decades of questions and thoughts of possible survival, we now know that all of Czar Nicholas II's family were killed on that fateful night in 1918.

This saddens me; I had always hoped they would be found somewhere living to a ripe old age.
So – that lady in Europe somewhere who claimed to be one of the children was a fraud!
What about Anastasia? She was the one that supposed ly survived until a ripe old age.
My brother and I got hooked in Jr. High(1940s)on info on the Romanov story when reading a Richard Halliburton story, probably Seven League Boots, complete with pictures of the house and the death room of the WHOLE family, a lady’s maid, and a tutor, and the tiny dog, Joy, belonging to one of the girls…ithe book had been in print for some time even then.
We found some more of this “new” data more recently within the last 10 years. A box of old papers was tracked by 2 reporters, who wrote a book about the search and contents. It was found in a Harvard library, where it had never been cataloged without even the Dewey number for Russian History…..good going Harvard, or whatever Ivy Leaguer you were!!!
Included was extensive handwritten actual trial testimony and notes, very gruesome and violent, but extremely detailed by one or maybe two of the perpetrators and a commander. With search permission, the buried children might have been found then. At least, it was pretty certain that ALL the family perished. No chance of Anastasia’s escape. It seemed certain that no one escaped the lengthy barrage of bullets.
We are fortunate that the whole family spoke and wrote English with each other, for secrecy, and the Czar’s and Czarina’s letters are availible in book form at many libraries…beautfully written by a devoted couple.
Just as well they died along with their inherited social status and position of state power. Look to the English royal family for what they would have become had they survived. Pity that the tabloid readership suffers to this day for want of fresh blood that late royal family would have provided. The sordid details of their lives would have lined the pockets of hacks, raconteurs and publishers leaving the readership without their money, wit or dignity.
Martha, Anastasia’s remains were found a few years ago. When they were some believed that the girl that claimed to be Anastasia was Maria, but it sounds like they are now all accounted for.
It is interesting to note the DNA proof of the Romanov childrens remains are proven and case is closed. Is this correct or did someone leave out some facts. Yes some facts have been left out, as to verifying which childs remains boy or girl showed the verified “unique genetic markers” that Czar Nicolas 11 inherited as did a few other related Czars. The unique genetic markers Nicholas 11 had so did his son Alexi so inherit.
The unique genetic markers have been proven by certain genetictist but they have not tested why the royals who inherited the same also inherited visble markers at birth, but the case is closed and why open something as unimportant as royal genetic visble markers on Nicholas 11 and his son alexi, But that all in the past and the royal bloodine markers are no more.
But wait then why does the same inherited visible ancestor genetic markers show up on other related royals past and present. We will never know because they say the case has been proven, has it?.
hmm.. im dissapointed.. im reading the romanov prophecy by steve berry ryt now… i wished too that there were romanov survivors that nyt.. it could really lead to restoration of the monarchy in russia.. an air for the distant past…
