Some of Julius and Ethel Rosenberg's Records to Be Released

Tuesday July 1, 2008
Fifty-five years after spies Julius and Ethel Rosenberg were executed, some records related to their trial will be released. Because of the historical importance of the trial, the U.S. government has agreed to release transcripts of 35 of the 45 witnesses who testified at the grand jury indictment of the Rosenbergs in 1951. (The records of the 35 witnesses are from the witnesses who have either died or who agreed to allow the records to be made public.)
