Hitler Beheaded

Sunday July 6, 2008
The new Madame Tussauds wax museum in Berlin includes a controversial wax image of Adolf Hitler. In response to worries that the wax Hitler would add to Hitler's cult image, the museum created a defeated Hitler that was hunched over a desk just days before he committed suicide in his bunker. Also, unlike the other wax figures in the museum, the wax Hitler was positioned so that visitors could not take pictures with hiim.

However, on opening day of the museum, Saturday, July 5, 2008, the second visitor to enter the new museum pushed past several museum employees and tore the wax Hitler's head off. The man was caught and arrested.
