Pulitzer Prize-winning author Taylor Branch sat down with former U.S. President Bill Clinton for 79 taped interviews. The results of these interviews have just come out in a 720-page book, The Clinton Tapes: Wrestling History with the President.
During the interviews, Clinton told some colorful stories, including some about Boris Yeltsin. Apparently on one particular visit to Washington, Yeltsin got drunk and was found outside the White House in his underwear hailing a cab in an attempt to go buy some pizza. The following night, as Yeltsin was trying to sneak out of the Blair House where he was staying, he was found in the basement. Secret Service agents initially thought he was an intruder.
