After the death of North Korean leader Kim Jong-il on December 17, 2011, embalming specialists from Russia were flown in to help preserve his body. Exactly a year later, Kim's preserved body was unveiled at Pyongyang's Kumsusan Memorial Palace.
A few floors below the embalmed body of his father and first leader of North Korea, Kim Il-sung, Kim Jong-il's body is clad in a khaki jumpsuit and partially covered by a red blanket. Nearby are some of his personal effects, such as a pair of sunglasses, platform shoes, and a MacBook Pro laptop.

LOL at the “MacBook Pro laptop” being among the displayed personal items. A communist using a product made by a giant capitalist multinational loved by Western hipsters? Hee Hee.
