Jack Ruby's Garage

Sunday November 21, 2004
As part of their effort to revitalize downtown, the city of Dallas, Texas may open the underground parking garage that was the site of Lee Harvey Oswald's murder to the public. Jack Ruby shot and killed Lee Harvey Oswald in the parking garage of the old Dallas police headquarters garage on November 24, 1963, following Oswald's assassination of President John F. Kennedy. The city is considering turning the garage, now part of the building housing courts, into a museum.
