A New Holocaust History Museum in Israel
Friday March 25, 2005
Israel's Yad Vashem Holocaust Museum, originally built in 1973, has been replaced by the New Holocaust History Museum which will officially open to the public at the end of March. The New Museum is four times larger than its predecessor and sits largely underground, cut into a mountain. The New Museum also focuses on a uniquely Jewish perspective of the Holocaust as shown through the eyes of individuals. Check out the new museum by watching their new online Virtual Tour.
