Wednesday August 24, 2005
Nearly sixty Japanese Americans interned in World War II-era concentration camps in the United States were awarded their high school diplomas in a ceremony in Los Angeles on Sunday, August 21. Since the law passed a year ago, over 400 people have received diplomas.
