Do you need help researching genealogy in Eastern Europe? Jewish Gen has created this helpful page which gives you an overview of researching in Eastern Europe as well as a country by country breakdown which includes books, contacts, and articles to help you research in that particular realm.

Jewish Gen: Yizkor Books
Yizkor books, each a memorial to a specific town's Jewish community, are collections of history, pictures, memories, and names. These books are relatively hard to find, so Jewish Gen has worked to make them more accessible by placing a few translations online, created a database to search for these books, and created a list for libraries and bookstores who have them.

Search & Unite
The Nazis split families and sent them across Europe. After the war, even if family members were still alive, it was very difficult to find them. If you think that someone might still be "out there," David Lewin may be able to help you find them.
