Hitler Picture: Hitler Being Saluted by an Athlete

An athlete salutes Hitler at a ceremony to demonstrate loyaty to the Saar district at the Ehrenbreitstein fortress in Koblenz. Reich sports leader Hans von Tschammer und Osten (right) is about to present the athlete's message of loyalty to Hitler. About 170,000 athletes took part in the "loyalty relay race," which commenced from ten different frontier points and finished in Koblenz. (August 26, 1934)
