Designed by Ron Assouline of the firm Filmind, the monument will be constructed of three, partially-buried panels, representative of the triangle homosexuals were forced to wear in Nazi camps. The three panels will surround a pit that will have light coming out of it. Although not all the names of homosexual victims are known, the names of the registered victims will be inscribed on the memorial in Hebrew.

Einstein Letter About God Sold

Wednesday May 21, 2008
A letter written by Albert Einstein to philosopher Eric Gutkind recently went on the auction block. The letter, written in German on January 3, 1954, reveals Einstein's unfettered thoughts on religion. Although Einstein had publicly presented himself as an agnostic who did not believe in the power of personal prayer, in the letter he described God as a "product of human weakness" and the Bible a collection of "primitive legends." The sale of the letter surprised many when the final bid was 25 times the expected sale price, selling for a total of $404,000.
