The 43rd Academy Awards - 1970

The forty-third Academy Awards ceremony was held on Thursday, April 15, 1971 at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion of the Los Angeles Music Center. Though George C. Scott won best actor for his role in Patton, he declined the nomination and the award.
