The 47th Academy Awards - 1974

The forty-seventh Academy Awards ceremony was held on Tuesday, April 8, 1975 at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion of the Los Angeles Music Center. The Godfather II became the first sequel to win the best picture award. The hosts for this event were Sammy Davis Jr., Shirley MacLaine, Frank Sinatra, and Bob Hope.
